BB Messenger questions

Hi, my boss has asked me to search out a Blackberry with the BB Messenger application as he is dissatisfied with the Nokia Conversation application, but I need a couple of questions answered. Firstly, how many messages can the phone store in conversation before it slows down? Second how far can you scroll back without having to click another feature to bring up later messages?

It depends on the blackberry.
And the blackberry depends on the network.
Work out the carrier first.

I'm in Thailand so it will likely be 1-2 Call (AIS). In regards to the Blackberry, money is not an issue so it will be the best one available that supports what he is after

...and keep in mind that the people he intends to message also need to have BB's.
