I was updating my 8800 thru device manager when my PC shutdown unexpectedly. Now my 8800 refuses to come on and the LED light keeps flashing red. What do I do please?

1. Start the process over sometimes the reload wiLl continue from where it left off.
2. If that does not work search forums for Bricked blackberry fix, works for me. Please tell me you backup regularly.

started the process again but didnt work. tried by using app loader as instructed by carrier but still get msg "USB device not recognized". any other advice?

First, do a battery pull on the device and see if it is recognized by the PC.

Try using Jl_cmdr to wipe it and then reload the OS. If DM doesn't recognize the BB, then deleted DM and reinstall it.
