No, there are no built in chat clients. Just use a 3rd party app

Thanks bb4lfe!
Guess I won't be switching to Verizon.
I'll wait for the Motorla Q.

I have tried 2 different programs, but have been using Veri-chat for the last few days, you have to pay for it, but it's been pretty solid, if anyone has any input on chat programs, I'm interested. I've also tried a freeware Ramble IM and it kept hanging and disconnecting my AIM connection. I'm still under the trial for veri-chat so if there's anything better I'd love to know.

Yeah, that's right, I had tried Yak-on too. Like pnd said it doesn't support yahoo, and it never would connect to my AIM account.
