9700 Or??

I am about to get the 9700 (I have an 8310 now) but I want to make sure that there is nothing on the horizon that would make my 9700 an antique in a couple of months. Any help will be appreciated.

There always something on the horizon that will make your current device an antique in the next couple of months.
That's the nature of technology. Just accept it, and buy what you want if it suits your needs.
