My wife's pearl 8100 came up with the App Error 205 problem after I installed a Theme for her. After doing some research it looks like everyone agrees that a reinstall of the OS should take care of the problem. Is there any way to backup the device before I do the reinstall, however? I've got it plugged in and desktop manager fired up but it shows no Device connected (PIN). I can go up to the Options and Connection Options and the pearl shows in the drop down box with the correct PIN but I can't seem to get DM to recognize it so I can backup the data before the reinstall.
Any suggestions?
