My BB 7105t causes my Escort Solo radar detector to indicate a laser detection. It is not continuous, but every 15-20 minutes or so I'll get a chirp for about 5 seconds. Anyone else getting this.

What's funny is that the radar detector is picking it up as a laser signal not an X or K band which would seem more logical.

I guess I'll have some fun with RIM and Escort as it is an FCC controlled issue.

Wirelessly posted (7290: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry7290/4.0.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

You think that's screwedup.

Get close to A FM Stereo At a low frequency and start sending data.

Narrowband time division signals will interfere will most electronics. The transmission from the phone is being picked up on the circuit board of the detector; interfering with the electrical signals on the board.

You'll need to separate the two...or, if this doesn't work, turn your phone radio off.

My V1 sends false laser alerts from Trailblazers and Envoys equipped with LED center brake lights...beat that one!
