Hello!

I'm wondering if anyone knows if the Blackberry Tour 9630 (or any blackberry for that matter) has built in linux drivers and to what point? I am not looking to use it on a linux machine, I'm looking to use it with the Zoom 4506 3G Cellular Router. (zoom.com/products/mobile_broadband_overview.html) I know the official supported modem page does not list any mobile phones and

I have emailed the company and got this response:

"Dear Brad,

It might work, but I do not think it will. The Router is linux based. It has a driver for talking to basic modems.

We have tested some phones, but in general they lack linux compatible drivers. We do want to add them, but we need the cooperation of folks like RIM and Palm. So far they have not wanted to cooperate.

Paul"

I hope someone has some answers... maybe you even have used a blackberry successfully with the Zoom 4506, either way any answers are appreciated!!

PS: I know that the Cradlepoint routers work with blackberries but the Zoom 4506 better suites my needs.
