Next BlackBerry Messenger version?

I was wondering if there's going to a newer version of the BlackBerry Messenger with lots of new features and stuff? Any information about this? If so, do you take our ideas and suggestions for the upcoming release?

We have not a clue when the next version will come out, since we are not affiliated with RIM whatsoever. Your guess is as good as ours.

My sense is that it might be a while since the latest was just released a short time ago. There could be tweaks as the OS is updated.
