Transfer Problem

Having just purchased a new 9700, I was transferring contacts from my IPhone via SMS+attachment.
All went well for the first 50 or so, but now the Blackberry will not receive any more.
I will still accept text messages though.
Can anyone tell me what the problem might be?

Use google sync to copy your contacts and calander

I am not sure of the method you're referring to.

If possible, I would try to sync your iPhone to either Outlook or Gmail, and then once your contacts are there, sync the BB with withe Outlook or Gmail (whichever you selected).

Thank you for the suggestions.
I am just wondering why the way I was tansfering the contacts has stopped working after 50 or so successfull tries.
I am not looking for another way to do this though.
