text message format

recently for some unknown reason the way i read my texts has changed. i want to get it back to the previous format, the screen is different and hard to use. how do i change the sms format when reading texts???

presently the message is on top with 4 lines and a cursor at the bottom with one line for replying.
its reversed now and i don't know what i did to change it.:smile:

What did you do just before you noticed the change? Install and app? Upgrade the OS? Etc.?

I cannot find anything on the RIM support site so My guess would be the carrier made the change. Give them a call but I doubt you will have any luck if they did do the change unless a lot of people complain.

another thought is the length of the message. experiment and see if a different length makes it appear as before.

Dubdub's question is a good one. App's can change things.

trying to remove apps that were recently installed, example bt sidekick. problem is after hitting delete it lets me highlite cancel and delete, after highliting delete it freezes, then it easily responds to the cancel option.
how do i get rid of these apps!:?

I just updated my phone to 5.0 and the text messaging format changed. It looks like Blackberry Messenger does anyone know how to go back to the old format if you do please HELP

second, no thats the way it is in OS 5 and you cant change it.
