On my new 8530, I'm trying to connect via BES with my company. In the instruction email they sent me it states

"Email forwarding must be turned off prior to activiating your BlackBerry device. If email forwarding is not turned off you will not be able to activate your device"

How do I make sure I have done this?

Do you have any rules set up to forward mail to folders? If not, don't worry about it.

If so, then you need to go into your rules and turn them off (according to them).

What happens is that RIM will send an email to your email account and if forwarding is set (or some other rule that acts on incoming email) the message may not be picked up and processed by the BES, and your activation won't work.
