Kelly,

Do you have a BlackBerry data plan? This is a RIM application and requires a BlackBerry data plan.

Also, is this a work provided phone that is on a BES?

**EDIT** you also asked about msn messenger in your other thread

http://www.blackberryforums.com/general-9700-series-discussion-bold-2/221531-desktop-manager-applications.html

Not so nice to ask the same thing in multiple places since we wont go looking to see what you have or have not done to try and fix the issue....

I also have same problem on my BB Bold 9700, none of the IM clients such as MSN Live, Yahoo, GTalk are working. All applications are giving same reply "Service not enabled for this handheld."

I'm from a country where we don't have BB services. The sim I'm using is 3G enabled. Can anyone help??

Welcome to the forums.

No, you cannot use these apps without a BB data plan.
