7290 (cingular) battery problem

I am frequently seeing the upload/download indicator active and notice that my battery is going dead in about 5 hours. Very strange...

I have the latest handheld software/desktop

Any idea as to what is going on?

IM is closed, but normally on and does not cause much battery usage, no text...

I would try a reload and see what happens.

not even a year old....not real regimen...

This just started to happen out of no where....went from great battery life one day and then full drain in 5-6 hours literaly the next day....

so on that day:

1) did you install anything?

2) did you notice if your connect is weaker and are you constantly dropping out of a service area so the device is constantly trying to reconnect?

3) change accessories, add BT, change holster?

4) have anything running in the background?

Maybe, Reset the device by removing the battery and leaving it out a few minutes?
