hey i recently bought a blackberry bold 9700 and im trying to set up email .
i already have an email and it keeps saying " i want to use and enterprise server " this is the only option it is giving me and i dont know what it is ? i tryed to activate it but it says i need a password and a server ? does anybody know how i can set 1 up or how i can get one ?

You need a blackberry data plan. do you have this?

Also, is this a used device?

I'll bet that during setup, you selected Blackberry Enterprise Server in leiu of BIS. If that is the case you will need to undo that.

That prompt that the OP is getting is typically indicative of NOT having a BlackBerry Data Plan. It really doesn't have anything to do with the device having been associated with a BES.
