Battery Drain After Upgrading 5.0.0.508

Is anyone else seeing their battery drain much faster after upgrading to 5.0.0.508? Mine will not make it through the night even if it's been charging all day. Thoughts?

You sure the battery drain coincides with the OS upgrade? Have you ruled out apps you may have running, particulary data apps running in the background?

It started the day after the upgrade. How can I tell which apps are running in the background?

Hold down the blackberry key to bring up the ribbon. Scroll across. Those are applications that are running. I'm not 100% sure that every app that is running in the background will show. You may have to check options in your add on and 3rd party apps to see which are set to run in the background and see. Make sure you actually close apps when you are done using.

By the way, several core blackberry apps are always running. You will always see them in the ribbon even after you've closed them.

Mine battery life actually increased since I upgraded. If you use Wifi the whole time, it drains the battery too.
