First off I am new to BB and I have looked for this topic and found nothing.

Can the "Green" & "Red" blinging light be turned off. I know my phone is on since I can see the screen but I would like to turn that feature off. :x

Please advise this "Newbe" to you ways. Sorry in advance if this is a redundant post.

The red light is your message notification light and can be disabled in your profiles

The green light is a network notification light - you have a network connection (no, don't ask why they did it - I have no clue).

To turn off the green light, go into Settings / Options / Screen/Keyboard and set the "LED Coverage Indicator" to Off.

I do love my blue light when connected with bluetooth...that I wish would always stay on.
