okay, i wanted to get everyone's opnion before I go and spend $299 on a 7130e from Verizon. i am a college student so the funds are not so grand. I currrently have a 7750 and love it, except for the fact it sucks to talk on. the 7130e looks a lot easier to talk on, but seems harder to type on with my big thumbs. i have a long distance girlfriend so i type a TON of e-mails. and i am talking mini-novels. would a 7130e work or is it more for shorter e-mails due to the keyboard? or is a 7250 what i should purchase? or is the 7750 the way to be?
thank you very much and happy holidays to everyone!

Welcome.
You can find lots of opinions here on SureType vs. QWERTY. Just so some searching and ye shall find.

I could type more and faster on my 7750 then most folks I communicated with could in Oulook on a PC. I could type in the dark, while driving, while making love (ok, that's a stretch but you get the idea).
I got the 7130e on Dec 1st and I can type with SureType just as fast as I can with 7750. I have started to do things more one handed with the 7130 which wasn't really possible with the 7750. I think I'm close to typing as fast one handed on the 7130 as I could 2 handed on the 7750.
Only think that is awkward one handed is stuff like symbols, or pressing the alt & esc button to bring up the "task list". Also, there were more symbols directly accessible on the 7750 and now there's 2 scrolling pages on the 7130 as there's minimal symbols on the keyboard.
It'll take some getting used to, but if you are typing as much as you posted, it probably wont take too long to get comfortable. Read through the thread at http://www.blackberryforums.com/showthread.php?t=21915 for other opinions and suggestions.
