Feedback Through Speaker

The other day while I was using my speakerphone, it for no reason started to a feedback tone; loud & annoying. My other party was able to hear it as well. I turned off the speakerphone, and tried it again after a couple minutes, and got the same thing.
My question is has this happened to anyone before, and is it something to be concerned about. It has not happened since, but I did upgrade to the latest OS for my 8900 yesterday.

That’s real weird because the software should be able to stop the feed back. Unless the OS download was corrupted and needs to be replaced I would try to reset the BB by pulling the battery and leave it out for a couple of minutes and see if that clears the issue.
