I have installed an SSD and am running windows 7 on it.
The method of install was to take my raid 0 setup and delete enough material that the drive was less than 30 GB total. Then, I took an image of the drive and mounted it on the ssd.
Blackberry tools were one of the things that got the axe. So, now I am trying to re-install as it will not run from my secondary hard drive.
First, I tried to uninstall from my control panel. It would not uninstall completely.
Next I tried to download and install from the blackberry website but it quickly stops the install and complains that it was interrupted.
Third, I rebooted to my second hard drive, explored to the ssd drive and deleted the folders that contained blackberry information.
Last, I rebooted to the ssd and attempted to load again... Same result.
Is it possible there is a setting on my ssd that has made it unhappy with desktop manager? Is there something stuck in my registry from the 'old' install which is causing trouble?
Thanks in advance for any help.
