Mms Option

I have a vodafone branded 8900 javelin, which i unlocked so that i could use with a local mobile network
However,i am not able to configure the MMS.When i go into the options menu, i do not have the MMS option available to configure.
The mobile company said that they have done everything possible from their side,and it is not a network problem but a devise problem
However,before unlocking,i could send mms regularly without problems.

When i suggested that we re install the BB software,they are saying that most probably,the fone will re lock itself to vodafone.

Any ideas please

If the phone is unlocked, it will stay unlocked. Reinstalling the OS will NOT re-lock it.

MMS works over the BlackBerry data plan. A generic data plan probably won't help. You need a BlackBerry data plan.
