SO WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW!
are there any apps that i need? i have NO clue how to use a blackberry at all so i am looking forward to like a 'quick start' tutorial. anywhere where i can find this?
i need to set up multiple emails. BBM. etc

I suggest you read the user guide that comes with your new device.

Read our FAQ. There is a section on email. And don't forget that you will need a BB data plan, not a generic one.

Peruse the 8500 section.

As for apps, I recommend you use the BB for a few days and see what it does and how it can work for you before you go downloading and installing apps. Get to know it before you start adding and changing things.

Once you have used and really have an idea of what else you need, post your needs and requirements and someone is bound to suggest something. Also install BB App World and peruse the Aftermarket section.
