Hi guys
i basically dropped my blackberry in a tiny bit of water today, so i put it in the airer to let it dry out, having taking it all apart. It was loading to the main screen but is now saying jvm error 517 while it gets to a certain stage of loading, a white screen then appears with a reset button so i press that and seem to be going round in circles. Will vodafone fix this problem for me, ive only had the phone 2 months and it is on contract but i did cancel my insurance last week! If so does anyone know how easily these problems are resolved or the costs?
Thanks in advance

water damage is almost never covered by insurance anyway.

Maybe there is no water damage and you just need to reinstall the OS. I started getting a similar error message about a month ago for no reason and since it tries to boot normally it seems maybe your problem is all software.

The little bit of water will cause you to spend a little bit of money.

You did not mention removing the battery so it's a good chance the BB is well beyond repair. Reloading the OS if it does work will be miracle.
