Updating desktop and OS in 8320

I have a BB Curve 8320 and am running v.4.2.2.14 on the desktop and need to update the OS and desktop software. I tried to click the link to do so and 8320 was in the dropdown menu for phones and when I tried to update from the BB site, I got a page error. How do I go about updating these?

Updating the desktop manager is as easy as downloading the program from Blackberry. Also include the latest OS for your phone. I’m not sure exactly what you did but the phone requires a version of the OS that is designed for it. DM is generic. If your trying to update while downloading, don’t. put the programs on the PC first.
