Viewing messages defaults to past dates

When I retrieve messages my bb 7100g sometimes reverts back to a date several weeks ago. I have to scroll up through weeks of messages to get to the top. I have no clue why this happens from time to time.

Any advice/thoughts are appreciated.

Not sure why it happens, but just press the ER key to get to the very top of your messages list....easier than scrolling....
