Voice mail problem

The voice mail icon is showing a message available but when I check it out there is no message. How do I delete the icon?

1. Try pulling the battery with the phone still on. Replace after 30 seconds. That might work.

2. Call your cell from a different phone and leave a message. Pick that message up, and the indicator might go away then.

If those steps don't work, go to top of mailbox - menu - open prior.
