Hi, am quite new to BESX 5.0.1 and try to get a new installation up and running.

Problem, the BESAdmin User (which is the admin user for BESX) is not possible to start the MAPI integration.

As Domain Admin I was able in the Blackberry Server Configuration
the MAPI Account BESADMIN.
After logging into the SBS as BESAdmin, when trying to open the MAPI
Link, error occures: The MAPI-SUbsystem cannot correlty be initialted ... (sorry we run a german OS , and this is just the translation).

Downloaded the new MAPI from Microsoft 6.xxx - but still does not work.
Services Dispatcher / Mail Store cannot be accessed.

Any idear / help !!

Many thanks in advance
Marc

Have you checked the BES Admin section?

First is your BESAdmin is a local admin on SBS? Second do you install CDO.dll on SBS and MAPI 1.2.1?

If not then you must instal from this localization :)

Hello,
yes I followed the installation Guide in the Admin Area, but non of the installations follows SBS 2008 64 bit german with Exch 2007.

I am unable to configure a LOCAL Administrator, because with Win2008 64 bit there are no local admins anymore ?

But still MAPI not working :-(
