I can't really get a handle on what sleeper actually does. I still get calls and e mails. What does it actually do then?

Wirelessly posted (your electric?: BlackBerry7100i/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/103 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3 UP.Link/5.1.2.16)

If you will notice in your profiles a "in holster" function. That is essentially what the sleeper function does. For instance on my bb, it will ring out of holster but in holster it will vibrate, it also shuts the screen off to save battery. pink

There is a auto on/off feature that will shut off the device and turn it back on. I have mine to shut off at 11pm and turn on at 7am weekdays and 9am weekends. When it is off it doesn't ring or vibrate. Is that what you are looking for?

On my 8700 it is under options/"auto on/off"

So sleeper only changes the ringer function, etc while in holster. If this is the case, it seems to be misnamed. Shouldn't it be called Holster mode as nothing actually sleeps, only the ring profile changes.

I though more was going on but maybe not. I can't think of any other.
