View Full Version : 8320 internet on Orange PAYG without paying £5 /month

I have been using a Nokia e61i for the past year with no problems at all apart from it's now knackered.

I have now got a BlackBerry 8320 but cannot access the internet without using WiFi. I have rang Orange and they told me I had to pay £5 a month for this service.

I told them that this is a joke as I had internet on my Nokia for free, so why would I pay to have it on a different phone?

Is there any way I can get internet working on my BlackBerry without paying EXTRA?

Thanks.

It seems that you need a Blackberry Data Plan which is unique from other phone plans

Nope, you have to pay for a blackberry data plan.
No other workaround.

A BB isn't a Nokia or any other device for that matter.

Thank you for your responses. Although the user had a generic issue, I am not familiar with the UK carriers to the same extent as you.

Yes. Without the plan, you are very limited beyond voice and SMS text.
