I'm trying to do something that was so simple with my old Pearl, but seemingly impossible with the new Bold 9650 I just bought. I had my Pearl set up so that it rang normally outside the holster, but when it was in the holster it would vibrate first, then ring. I've been spending the better part of a day trying to get the Bold to do the same thing, but with no luck. All it will do when in the holster is vibrate. I've searched this forum up and down and haven't had much luck either. One person said the following should do it:
Play Sound: Always
Vibration: Custom
Vibrate: In Holster
Vibrate with Ring Tone: On
Unfortunately it doesn't, at least not with my phone and OS. I'm using the standard holster that came with the phone, and I've also tried the removing the battery trick. Nothing. Am I missing something, or is this some quirk of the new OS?
