Blackberry INternet Client NExtel Gmail

I am currently using the Nextel Blackberry Internet Client. I am trying to set up GMAIL to use with it. In gmail i have enabled POP access and I have setup the account on the Blackberry Internet Client using

"Username"@<hidden>
"Username"@<hidden>
password
password

For some reason I can only send and not recieve the email via GMAIL. THe mail doesnt even come into the blackberry internet client inbox. Does anyone know how to fix it? any suggestions?

I read those but they dont offer a solution. I must use POP and it just doesnt seem to work.
