Various synchronisation problems

Firstly, I am posting on behalf of my partner, who has a Blackberry. I know little about them, and she in turn is not a techie.

My partner synchronises contacts, and appointments between the Blackberry (Curve) and Outlook 2003.

For quite a while, this worked perfectly.

Then - 1. Media on the Blackberry is not detected any more by the transfer program

2. Worse - the contact and appt synchronisation program has deleted data it shouldn't, which has meant she has double booked clients.

Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this?

Which model Curve?

Have you tried a battery pull on the BB?

Have you reset the configuration in DM or downloaded a newer version?
