View Full Version : "q" and "a" reversed keys HELP !

hey, i just got a bberry bold 9000
it has a qwerty keyboard but when i press "q", it shows up as "a", and the same with "z" and "w"

2 years ago i had a bold 9000 and it had the same problem, but its keyyboard was not qwerty

how can i fix this? its obviously software based, can annyone help?

It may have had its keyboard swapped to a qwerty keyboard, which does not change the mapping of the keys (which there isnt a way to do)

I would agree with this. The device sounds like it was from a French-speaking country like France or Belgium, and some nonce thought they would just change the keyboard and it would magically change to QWERTY. Then when it didn't they sold it to you.

AZERTY device, QWERTY keyboard swapped in. Return it immediately for a full refund. Clearly it was misrepresented.
