well, whenever i try and add someone they dont recive a request and whenever someone adds me i dont recive anything. i have deleted and re-installed the bbm twice. anyone got any solution?

Do you have the BB data plan? Are you adding via PIN# or Email?

Hmm. if i dont have a data plan would that restrict me from using the internet? because i can use that just fine.

Call your phone service carrier and ask them to be sure that you have the BLACKBERRY INTERNET SERVICE on your account.

All depends on your carrier. Some have data plans that allow Internet, but no other BlackBerry Services.
As has been stated several times, contact your carrier.

ermm! i have a diffrenty problem. when i got my bb i got sim with it. now o2 activated the sim for me with the bb. i tired putting my contract sim i already had in the bb and thats why they wont work, because they work on the sim o2 gave me. is there any way round this?

cancel the sim you activated that came with the blackberry.
while on the phone to o2 doing that, get them to add the blackberry bolt-on to your original contract. yes they will do that, and yes it will be extra.
