I spilled a little beer on my keyboard a few days ago. Now the keys are sticky and make a strange clicking sound when I type. Any tips how to clean this up?

Thank you! /torberry

Buy a new device. You've left it too long, and now the normal procedure of letting it dry completely as soon as it happens and then cleaning the parts with rubbing alcohol won't work for you.

Agree with DC. You could try taking it apart, but my guess is that the damage is done.

You seem to have a lot of problems with your keyboard...

And the answer to your question is:

Now if it was a fine Irish Ale it would have been ok. Probably was a domestic.

Or a nice Bass Ale. No problemo at all.

Now it if was a good Nova Scotian beer it would of put a super protection on the device, makes it bounce off pavement, Cut through walls, and Baths in liquid to give it the new wet look!

Replace the keyboard?

Replace the keyboard?

Not likely. Too much time and it would not be easy to clean the other parts.
But who knows it may be possible.

Beer spill happened way before the stutter. Stutter started at Day 1. Ironically the beer spill seems to have gone away (no more clicks) however the stutter persists!

You say the beer spill was before the stutter. Then the fluid may have caused the problem. If the Stutter was on a new BB you should have replaced it then. It may be too late.

I apologize. The keyboard was double-typing right out of the box. The beer came days later and even then it was a minimal amount. Very frustrating still.

probably still worth taking it apart and replacing the keyboard.. its not really that difficult.
