Is there a way to export the address book from the bb8330 to the computer, fix the address book, then import it back to the bb8330.

Yes. Sync the add book with ooutlook or whatever prog you are using. Then under advanced settings on your Desktop manager you should set the direction ONLY from desktop to device. So this way whatever is on desktop will be pushed to BB.
