I am in France and I have the 9650 Bold. It is unlocked and I can put any sim for it to work. But in France do any companies sell a prepaid data plan? because the prepaid plan I have now doesnt allow me to use bbm. I will be In France for 6 months so cant get a contract. What are my options if any? I have Orange right now. Online I thought I read SFR provides a data plan, but when I went to the store nobody seems to pffer a prepaid data plan.

Some services offer a pre paid plan but generally none offer a pre paid Blackberry data plan so your BBM will work. Someone may know of a provider in France or one that will provide month to month blackberry service so you wont have to pay out a contract


update, based on a search, O2 and Orange may offer plans, I would give your carrier a call . You may be going to a vendor store and they may be clueless.

as far as I know the only two countries that provide prepaid BB on daily/weekly/monthly basis are India and Indonesia.
