View Full Version : BB services not active on my unlocked 9530

Hi...

I got an vorizon unlocked 9530 handset. I am using Airtel services. I had activated a BB plan which I checked on other BB, and is working fine. I am unable to access BB services on my handset. I tried several options from net and also contacted customer care but nobody was able to resolve my problem.

Every time I open browser it prompts me for the service book entries.

Anybody who know solution to my problem PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Most likely your carrier does not support the 9530 since it is a US CDMA/GSM device and do not have the proper service books for it.

See the yellow sticky at the top of the 9500 section for instructions on getting the 9530 to work on US AT&T and T-mobile networks. This might be a place to start.

Also try a Google search or our search feature to see if any one has succeeded in getting a 9530 to run on your carrier's network.

I'm not %100 positive but I think that Theunlockr.com addresses this issue and has a tutorial on how to get all the BB services working on an unlocked BB with a different carrier. I was on there today looking under that blackberry section and I think I saw something like that there. I hope that helps buddy.
