Auto Signature not automatically attached to 7130e E-mails

I have my BlackBerry 7130e because my firm uses Lotus Notes for email. I entered an auto signature as an option, but it is not attaching it to any of the emails I send from my device. Is there a step I'm missing? I thought it would automatically place the signature at the bottom of the message?

Anytime I try to modify something in that option menu I get an error because the Out of Office Reply is dated in the past. Make sure the Out of Office reply is set to some date in the future. Doesn't seem to matter that it is turned off. If you have to, enable the Out of Office, save, change your signature, and disable Out of Office, save.
