Am I missing something because I am unable to find a search function on my 8700R.
Is there one and would someone be so kind as to point me in the right direction to find it?

Thanks.

Don't really know about the rogers OS, but is it possible that you hid the search App? Is your Theme a list or Icon based and does it have an Applications subfolder? The search App might be stuck in there if so.

Hope this helps.

Wirelessly posted (8700c: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Try a light tap of the S key from the home screen or from an app select it using the track wheel. You need the option "dial from home screen turned off."

There should be an icon on your screen, a big letter A with a magnifying glass. That is the search function.

...it doesn't seem to work too well. For example, I have a number of contacts who live in Los Angeles (for example). When I type in a search of any kind, it does not pull them up.
Any help is appreciated.
