Hey all,

I am new here..sorry if I posted in the wrong category. Anyways. I want to make/try to make my own BlackBerry app. ;-) But the problem is where I downloaded the JDE, and everything was going good...(I am following a tutorial: How to write your first BlackBerry application – Lesson 1: UI fields | BlackBerry Cool (http://www.blackberrycool.com/2009/06/05/how-to-write-your-first-blackberry-application-lesson-1-ui-fields/) ) I got to step 9, where you have to press F7 to compile and F5 to run. Well neither works. So I saw it may be a problem with the Enviorment Variable Path, so I've tried a few times to fix it but that isn't working. I try to restart the JDE, and I try the F7 and F5 again, and it comes back saying there was an error. Any insight?

Sorry again, I'm new to all this. :?

Thanks:smile:

This thread would probably get better attention in the developer forum. Ask a mod to move it for ya.
