Here's another one:

What's saving the screen on this thing? When I set this phone down the screen stays on. After a while, the menu will be replaced by a Cingular welcome page but there's no movement in that? Has BlackBerry developed a screen that does need to be protected from image burn?

I couldn't to find anything in "options" about this.

Thanks.

LCDs are not phosporous cathode ray tubes of the past, there is no need for screensaver.

seriously?

so, that's that.

but what about the battery life?

don't other phone and PDA models give the screen a rest when idle to also get more mileage out of a charge?

thanks.
