I have a Pearl 9105 on Vodafone UK, and a Windows 7 PC.

Connection and Sync is fine via Bluetooth, but very problematic via USB.

Almost always, as soon as I connct via a USB cable, I get a BlueScreen and my PC reboots, sometimes after the little beep signifying a new connection but not always, Very occasionally (5%) a USB connection is fine, but I can see no diferences between the times when it works, and those when it does not.

These are the crash codes

Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033
BCCode: 1000008e
BCP1: C0000005
BCP2: 834877CE
BCP3: 9A16779C
BCP4: 00000000
OS Version: 6_1_7600
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 256_1

I have a dump file.

Any help very much appreciated.

Regards
Nigel

Just curious....Do you have any other devices (say, an mp3 player) that you use and connect to the computer via USB? Does this BSoD only happen when the BlackBerry connects?

Just making a guess at something to try: Do you have another BlackBerry USB cable? Or, if you've appropriated some other brand cable from another device for use with the BlackBerry, get a new BlackBerry cable and try it.

As I say, just a thought. Otherwise I don't have a clue beyond some issue with the computer or your Windows installation.
