unopened TORCH, to buy or not to buy?

Hi,
Im about to get my first blackberry im so excited,
Theres an un-opened brand new Torch for sale in a local exchange shop, is there any chance this phone could have been reported stolen and locked or anything?
Its completely sealed and un-opened
I'm in London Uk

If it's truly un-opened it will not have been activated on another account. Thats one of the biggest bug-a-boos with resale BlackBerrys. Reported stolen is another issue. Get a receipt and confirm that you can return it if there is a problem.
