I pre-ordered the 64GB Playbook but now I am second guessing myself if I really need that much storage.

What size did you order and why?

Size? 32. Why? Plenty of room and easier to justify the price.

64. I didn't really think about price. (If I had thought about money, I would be waiting for prices to come down.) My reasoning is you can't have too much memory, and as knotty suggests, you'll be stuck with what's delivered.

I did also by a 16GB for my wife. From experience with her and her BlackBerry, I don't think she will be storing much on it.

Get the 16gb - it's more than enough to serve your purposes for the price. With the tablet wars in full force, before you know it, there'll be another version that will be the version that you'd likely want to upgrade to and you will have spent at least $100 less when you get it.

64GB. Go big or go home! No seriously I want to be able to load music and movies to watch on public transit as well as most of my documents.

32's are what we are getting. Good compromise.

Thank you for the response,
I just received in the mail my screen protectors and my gel case, all I need now is my Playbook that I ordered from Staples along with their $49 accidental damage replacement warranty that includes dropping and breaking the glass

I agree with going for the most storage available.

You can't add more memory later if you need it. Skimp now and risk issues later.
Resale down the road is always easier for the top model.

I believe that you are best served by buying more technology than you need simply to get the current job done. Because the job changes with time. Projects grow and get consolidated so multiple projects become one mega-project. Your tech needs to be future-proofed for these occurrences.
