View Full Version : T-mobile blackberry activation?

I added the BB add on to my T-mobile account today. My Blackberry (unlocked 8700 from amazon) immediately downloaded the service books and everything seemed to work, but when I try to set up Blackberry Internet Email on my.t-mobile.com, I just get the error:

We apologize, there was an error trying to access My E-mail. Please click here to try again.

Is this a provisioning problem, or do I need to wait for the web site to update itself like the last rep I spoke to said?

1. Site is down. that happens around 7:pm every nite in case of T-mo
2. Your PIN is not registered properly. call t-mo and they will add the PIN to blackberry.net

Now two reps have re-sent the service books and checked my PIN, and both say that everything is fine on their end. They said it takes the web site 24 hours to update itself once you add the Blackberry service to your account. So we'll see.

It does take time for the BB data plans to provision properly. I was switching from the BIS add-on to the BES add-on and couldn't access the BES until about 24 hours after I requested the change.

It took about 6 hours but now works fine. Yay!
