How do I access the internet from my laptop using the Blackberry Curve 8330? I have downloaded the Blackberry desktop software but when I try to connect the internet, it says that I cannot connect. My service provider is Boost Mobile. Can you also please tell me what data plans are? I have been reading that I may need one to connect to the internet from my Blackberry. Can you explain this? Thanks.

To use your BlackBerry's data connection on your laptop you have to "tether" the laptop to the BlackBerry. This requires your carrier to have a tethering option, which you will have to pay extra to use. If your carrier does not offer this service you cannot do it.
