What happened too QSMS with OS 6.0?

I am beginning to really hate OS 6.0. Aside from losing all my new updates because the new install didn't back up my data, and I find the user interface very frustrating, but also I seemed to have lost uses of QSMS and it seems to take many steps to get to what used to take one key (Q for IM, C for compose, O for calculator)...all of that improved functionality seems to be gone.

Even some of my notifiers seem to be gone, like sonar and gong.

I am not a happy camper.

When you install OS 6 the default is to have "dial from home screen" active. You have to turn it off to get QSMS to work.
