Facebook app wont work?

Hello all, I bought my 9300 today and I'm not sure if I have BB data services included in my plan, the little blackberry logo is illuminated in the little bar at the top of the screen, I've heard that this means I have access to BB data services?

I can access the Blacberry app world, Browser, but not facebook, it keeps saying I need to update my data plan, can anyone shed some light?

You need to verify that you have a BlackBerry Data Plan. That's not the same as your carrier's voice/data plan. You need a BlackBerry Data Plan to use most features on a BlackBerry.
