7100 Newbie questions

I just purchased an unlocked 7100 and will be receiving this week. I have cingular service which I will be using. Now my questions, Do I just need to put my excisting sim card from my v3 and order unlimited data service to make it all work or? Also do I tell Cingular that it is unlocked? I just need some recomendations on what to do now. Thanks in advance

there is no reason to tell cingular, as a matter of fact i wouldn't tell them. if you tell them then they will ask you for the serial number to put it in their system, once they change the serial number then your warranty and insurance will be voided on your razr. the sim should work in the phone with no problems. save all of your numbers to your sim and you can then copy them from the sim to the blackberry address book.

Do I than just order the blackberry data service and of course they will ask if I have a BB won't they? Thanks for your response

they shouldn't even ask you what device you have if they do then just tell them that you have a blackberry. it doesn't matter where you got it.

i was advised to dwnload javaloader.exe and reload OS on a bb7100i any help doing this?

cingular is expensive for there internet t-mobile is cheaper cingular is about $30 to $40 t-mobile is $20
