I guess it's currently available in the UK. My tmobile rep said it would be available in the US in 60 days. Anyone hear different?

That's yummy goodness :)

As to timing, my hope is sooner than that - sometime late Feb would put it 90 days after the Cingular launch. But it wouldn't surprise me if it was slightly later, say March.

Interesting, this case is blue and also the keys look a little different that the Cingular BB, like the space key on my 8700 is more rectanglur but this picture clearly shows the sides more angled. There is also a ridge across the bottom that is not on my Cingular case.

I would have expected the keys and everything else to be identical with only the case with brand name and maybe some software differences.

The bottom left and right keys are a bit bigger too. And I like how the number keys are half colored instead of all silver like the 8700c.

*sigh* Sure is purty...

And yes, there do seem to be slight differences on the overall look. Nice.

Here you can compare them side by side sort of.

Click on the image to see a larger one, Cingular does not look as good anymore does it?

I don't know. I like the angles on the bezel and the ridge at the bottom of the keys. But I'll take the color and theme of my unlocked 8700c any day. Blue is so 2002 and that theme is awful.

I think the 8700T looks old school BlackBerry!

The color and texture plus the number keys!

Old school to me looks better to begin with, not only here with these BB's but also with Bikes, look at the Tuttles, Father vs Son. Old school all the time.

The only three bikes I liked from them were the one they did for Leno (very old school), the old school bike Senior did with Cody, and the trike I just saw them do last night. Other than that, the standard 12,000" rake is a bit too much! I'll take a Jesse James West Coast Chopper over an OCC Chopper any day.

Me like the 8700c but will learn to like the 8700t...I got use to the family mini-van after all.

Looks just like the 8700f except in blue.

Personally, I'm waiting for the 8700r housings to become available, the 8700 looks so much better in black.

You're kidding, right? http://justinmg.home.comcast.net/forums/gssad.gif

Every picture I've seen of it, looks like the housing is black.

That sucks. Is the 8700f dark blue as well?
